Air Display by Avatron. App for the ipad & driver for MacOS. Anyone using this with a Mac Mini? I dnloaded & installed the driver on my 2014 Mac Mini High Sierra & it never recovered! Several Geniuses couldn't revive it. Could only boot into safe mode & even recover OS didn't work. Upon normal start up I would see the Apple Logo & progress bar then at a little over half way on progress bar & would get the spinning wheel & there it would stay. My Mini was within return window, so I just got a new one. This time I enabled Time Machine, so I have a path to recovery if I corrupt the system. I am still reluctant to install the Air Display driver. BTW this app allows me to use my iPad as a display for the Mac. Since I am using a TV as a monitor, this app would allow me to continue to watch TV & use my Mac at the same time. That is, if it will work!?!?!? Any insight is appreciated.
