Deleted MC 23.0.74 and reinstalled. Thumbnails built = 100%. Able to access Tools>Options>. However, MC crashed when accessing Tools>Options>CD&DVD.

I get exactly the same result. MC crashes and disappears immediately. Would a crash log help you?

Version 0.74 will not play 4k video content. It either freezes within the first 3 seconds, or shows a blank gray screen. If resolution is 1080p or less, they play fine. Reverting back to version 0.65 solves the problem. I went  back & forth between the versions 3x to confirm the behavior. This is on a Late 2015 iMac 5k, High Sierra, with 64GB ram and a 2GB video card. The 4k videos are not the issue as they play quickly and flawlessly in VLC, QuickTime, and as stated above version 0.65 of JRiver. Suggestions?
