Help please, I'm completely lost.

Where do I find skins for MC23?

I noticed that my older Skins from MC 21 don't seem to work correct (my favourite one being "Minimal", tweaked with the the Skin Effect option).
So I'd like to get and try some new ones.
But where I used to get them (https://accessories.jriver.com/mediacenter/accessories.php) there seem to be only old ones (up to MC 20).
I think I could live with the "Modern Cards - Dark Edition) but would wish for a much more prominent highlight for chosen items.

P.S. I'm no computer afficionado.
So, I certainly won't edit any files, won't deal with Linux and Co. and whatever.
Just simple Windows (8.1 in my case)

Even though accessories.jriver only allows to filter to MC20, most of those skins could actually still work.

I've got a few dotted through this board that I try to keep current...

I think I'll try to get along with "Arctic Winter HC" with a bit of additional gray and slightly modified settings for brightness and contrast.
I guess it's adequate for the coming season in the northern hemisphere.

You're welcome. Arctic Winter HC is my current skin too. After fixing it recently, I kept on using it. I think that the new tag window is a joy to use in this skin. Quite pleased with how that turned out.

If you do try any of the older skins, and find one you like that's not working quite right, let us know and we might be able to fix it up for you.

My favourite skin over the last years was "Minimal".
But the "Action Window" part with the Tag-pane ist not usable anymore. Kind of "white on white".
This seems to be the case with a lot of skins. All the ones I had looked at with MC23 that did not work seem to suffer from the same issue: they are no readable in that area.
Maybe it's a general setting thing?

Not a general setting, no.

The archive linked below contains two files. Extract both of them to your existing "Minimal Skin" folder, replacing the existing main.xml file, which should give a black tag window that's at least useable...
