Seems I have trouble with the simplest things.

I simply want to select a music file and convert its format.  I go to File > Open Media File.  Then I either double click on the file or right click on the file and choose "Select".  In either case MC plays the file. If I pause the file and go to Tools > Library Tools, I get a grayed out "no files selected."

So very simply, I have a file and want to open it for "Library Tools."  How do I do that please?

Go into a standard view, highlight the files you want to convert, right click and select Library Tools - Convert Format
