Aif files will not play in Media Center 23

I have a collection of files with aif extension that do not play and crashes Media Center 23. I never had this problem with earlier versions of media center. These files play fine with other music playback programs. Help!! OS Win 10 pro.

Version 23.0.73. On another computer i have version 21.0.90 installed and aif files play ok.
Just installed version 23.0.77 problem persists

Are you using the 32 bit version of MC or the 64 bit version of MC?  Both are on the Download Page.

You might need to upload a couple sample files that don't work to a file sharing service (e.g. Dropbox, Mega, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.) and post a link for the devs to look into it.
