In MC23 if I load a DSF file and use Convert Format, select Wavpack, the resulting wv file will be (converted to) PCM; while if I use wavpack command line encoder the resulting wv file will remain DSD - so I think there is something wrong in MC, can you please check?

I'm a bit confused by this too.  I converted a file to a .wv file in Media Center.  When I then play it in Media Center, it's displayed as "24 bit, (Lossless)/ FV 5 / Normal 352.8 kHz; 13444 kbps," which seems right.  What I don't understand is that converting it from .dsf to .wv in Media Center didn't compress it at all.  File sizes of the .dsf and .wv are about the same.  Very likely that I don't know what I'm doing.

As far as I know I don't believe converting DSD to DSD WavPack was added - only playback support of DSD WavPack files was added. Also *if* converting DSD to WavPack in MC worked, it'd still go through a PCM conversion step in the middle (since all conversions go through PCM, especially DSD conversions).

IMO, it's probably better to do it via the command line encoder instead to avoid the PCM conversion step.
