Is there a chance to run jriver 23 with lcd smartie? the current plugin works only on jriver 21

If you're using the MC23 64-bit build, nope, unless somebody (e.g. the original developer, which is kensn) decides to release a new plugin for MC23 64-bit.

If you're using the 32-bit MC23 build and it still doesn't work, it may not work unless somebody (again e.g. the original developer, which is kensn) decides to update it for MC23 32-bit.

That guy hasn't updated that plugin since he got rid of the LCD screen he was using.

I'll see what I can do to talk him into updating it. Lots of irons in the fire right now though.

I wanted to buy this great player but the lcd smartie plugin does not work in any way on jriver 23. Sorry but I'll have to use a different player

Considering what Ken said above (I missed his post before when searching, but it's VERY important and informative), it may take awhile... if it's even doable in the first place. There's a chance the plugin might not be able to be updated.

You might want to use a copy of JRiver 21 to solve the problem. Once purchased, you should choose the version that you like most. But you can only use 23

It doesn't work like that. Older versions (that have discontinued development) aren't available for purchase.

I tell ya I know just enough to get these plugins working. To update to MC23 and future versions should be doable. To get it running on the 64bit platform is a new area for me and will undoubtedly take a fair amount of time, research and testing on my part.

Will be a good exercise though.... Then I can work on my other plugins. No promises 

A show of hands to how many would use this would help....
