Audeze released headphone plug in -- just not for Linux
« on: November 03, 2017, 02:36:49 pm »

The new Audeze "Reveal" plug for headphones has just been released. There are MAC and Windows versions, but, as usual, nothing for Linux. It works in MediaCenter for Windows.

If anyone figures out how to get the VST plugin to work in Linux, please post a howto.

A VST plugin would have to be specifically built for Linux to work.  You can't run a Windows or Mac plugin on Linux, unfortunately.

Maybe you guys at JRiver can prevail on Sankar to consider making a Linux VST plugin for MC.

It'd probably work better if interested users like yourself contact that company to inquire about a Linux version of the VST plugin.

You can run Win VST on Linux. But it requires a bit of luck and patience, and no warranty of course.
