Little icon in video playback - bottom right side of display

I am getting a white icon (maybe refresh??) in the bottom right side of the display when I watch videos.  anyone know what is causing it, and how to get rid of it?

You may have some other software (madVR?) set to display something.

looks like it was Nvidia icon saying something needed updating.  Thanks.
