backup in different format?
« on: December 05, 2017, 07:37:17 am »

it's easier just to ask then spend all day trying to figure this out. my music collection is in flac. recently I bought an mp3 player for my car that I can fit my entire music collection on - if I shrink the files to mp3's. so I keep a separate folder that mirrors my flac music folder, only in mp3 format to put on my music player. what I would like to do is have jriver watch my main music folder of flac files for changes, and when I add new flac files to copy them to a separate backup folder only in mp3 format. I can do this manually but being exceedingly lazy I always forget to do it, and then months later I have no idea which files in my main folder need to be converted. can this process be automated? thanx in advance.
