Id kit - hdd error
« on: December 09, 2017, 06:42:45 am »

Hi there,
When i'm building the Id from the usb kit I get this error:
fdisk:cannot open/devA:No such file or directory.
I formatted the ssd before installing it in the NUC5CPYH. Should I have partitioned it as well? Or formatted it differently? Or labelled it? Its picked up in bios correctly. Hmm. Any help gratefully received.

Could be irrelevant but when creating the bootable USB with Rufus, that software gives an ISO mode and a DD mode build option.

I've had problems getting set up (but I can't remember the error message) by selecting the default (wasn't thinking / reading the instructions) ISO mode. All came good when I opted for DD mode.

I've been working on my psychic abilities lately - all that meditation, yoga and tai chi listening to my library of tunes must be paying off ... glad to hear you're on your way ...  8)
