VPN suggestion
« on: December 11, 2017, 04:27:29 am »

Since I have trouble to connect to my JRiver server VPN (I am using PureVPN) can somebody suggest an alternative (to pure VPN) VPN provider (which does not log, I was told in another discussion that pure VPN logs users) which works with JRiver?

thank you so much

I am using JRiver23 with w10 (both 64 bit)

Not sure if it works with JRiver, but I use Mullvad (which has port forwarding options). I think there's a three hour trial of Mullvad's VPN, should be enough time to check whether or not it works with JRiver.

Otherwise, I like this website that compares VPN services (without any sponsoring from VPN services for recommendations).

The detailed comparison works pretty good.

Interesting site Awesome Donkey.

I might have to spend some time there, and it looks like I should review my choice of VPN. Or at least reassess their claims!

Thanks all: I am trying Mullvad with looks excellent in many aspects but still I cannot expose JRiver to any clients outside my LAN.
Did somebody succeed?
