passive mode FTP transfer
« on: June 23, 2003, 10:55:59 am »

I fail to send files to my FTP server with MC 9.203. I don't know if it's a new problem for I never tried to use MC to ftp files before. MC manages to connect to the server but the file transfer freezes instantly. The same thing happens when I use a regular FTP program with 'passive mode' is unchecked. Is there any way to set MC to use that mode?

i have never had it working.

it tells me the file has been transfered but when you look at the ftp site there is no new files.

if you would like me to try to send to your FTP site just give me an address here or in E-mail and i will test it for you.

This song never charted but i just love it

No problem with it here. Address of home.revealed.net, port 21, login username and pw is all I need to do the transfer. The options button doesn't work..what it would do, I don't know.

I have major issues with this feature b/c my linksys does not like FTP sessions unless they are passive.
