Lenovo USB Portable DVD Burner Model: DB65
« on: December 15, 2017, 12:39:49 pm »

Hello - I just picked up my id 202 yesterday & I am trying to connect a Lenovo USB Portable DVD Burner Model: DB65 to the id with the intention of ripping  CD's directly into the id. Can I do this? How?

It's not possible.  Sorry.  The Id internals aren't open to change.

How do I get music into the id's 2TB hard drive?

From Windows, open Explorer, then Network.  If you don't see your Id under Computers, enter the IP address.

Example:  \\192.168.1.17

Then open Internal Storage > Media.  You can copy and paste files there.  Try a few before you do very many.  Make sure you can import them on the Id.

You can also set up the Id as a Handheld device in MC's options.  Just browse for the location.  After doing that, you can sync to the Id.

I am looking in MC options - Hand Held & see nothing resembling the id's 2TB drive. Where will I find it & what will it be called?

Handheld support isn't yet in the 64 bit version of MC.  Soon.

If that's the problem, you could download and install the 32 bit version.

You have to add a handheld in the options, and then browse to the location.
