Hi everyone.
I'm new to the forum and hoping to get some help.
I have to use the Catwalk plugin inside JRiver to get my Linn-DS working gapless.
The problem is:
When I press the STOP-button to quit playback, playback stops, but it restarts immediately at the beginning of the same track....
Problem occured since updating JRiver to MC22.
Does anybody know where to get a newer version of catwalk (mine is: V 1.2.2) ?
It seems to be discontinued.
All the catwalk-links are leading to nirvana...

You might try disabling the setNext support for that zone in MC if your plugin handles that already. Right-Click on the zone for the Linn and look under the DLNA controller options.

If that doesn't do it, a newer build of MC might work with that, you could try a demo version of 24. There were a lot of DLNA changes between 22 and the current 24.

Finally perhaps you could use bubbleUPnP to provide a standard DLNA compliant renderer from your Linn (which is running openhome).

Is there a way to play gapless with a Linn DS without using any additional plugin ?
Will JRiver MC24 do it ?

It depends on whether or not the DS supports SetNextAVTransportURI.
I don't know if it does or not.
Might be easiest to just install MC24 and try it.
You can remove it later if it doesn't help. You don't need to remove your current MC to try out version 24.

The solution I suggested with bubbleUPnP could work in either case, perhaps that's a good fallback.
