Drag and Drop using VNC as remote desktop for IdPi
« on: December 31, 2017, 05:04:36 am »

Hello forum,

i'm using VNC Viewer as remote desktop for maintaining my music library on the idPi. Drag and Drop inside of MC seems not to be possible in this scenario.

For example:
- Moving of Playlists to other "Playlist Group"
- Modify order of tracks inside of playlists

Is this a limitation of VNC Viewer? If yes, are there any alternatives?

Thank you for helping me.

Anyone an idea?

I would really appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

Did you try doing this with a monitor and keyboard?

I have to admit, not yet.

In the meantime i found this old topic in the linux forum, where the drag and drop issue has been discussed:

If this is still an open issue this would clarify the root cause.

Nevertheless i will check with monitor and mouse/keybord attached and will report the result.
