In former versions I used to sync the files on the portable drive with exactly the same directory structure as the main machine, backup the library on the main machine, restore it into the portable version and replace "D:\" by "(Install drive):\". This took less than few minutes in total.
In the 23 Version the string "(Install drive):\" is no longer accepted by the "Rename, Move & Copy files" dialogue (it shows "invalid change").
The work around is to reimport the whole music directory on the portable drive with the option "Update for external changes" and "fix broken links". But this takes more than 15 minutes.
The feature "sync Library" is not an option, because it messes up the file locations.
Would it be possible to change the plausibility check of the "Rename, Move & Copy files" dialogue in order to accept "(Install drive):\" as a valid drive name?
