Received error indicating that the certificate for the WDM driver is invalid after
new install of Windows 10 64bit Creators Edition and new install of JRMC23.  As a result, no new audio device for MC appeared in the device listing as they did in my previous install (JRMC21).  I'm testing JRMC23 in hopes of upgrading from JRMC21.  My key question at this point is, provided the certificate issue is resolved, how do I initiate another install of WDM?

All subsequent attempts at reinstalling the WDM driver failed to initialize another driver installation process using the following steps.

1. No Windows Restart - Driver Install didn't appear to start

• Remove check mark from WDM selection under Options>General>Features (OGF)
• Close MC and reopen as instructed by MC notification
• Open OGF and check WDM
• Close MC and reopen as instructed by MC notification
• Check for new audio playback device in Windows - no MC device

2. With Windows Restarts - Driver Install didn't appear to start

• Remove check mark from WDM selection under Options>General>Features (OGF)
• Close MC as instructed by MC notification
• Restart Windows
• Open OGF and check WDM
• Close MC as instructed by MC notification
• Restart Windows
• Check for new audio playback device in Windows - no MC device

3. With Reinstall of MC and Windows Restarts - Driver Install didn't appear to start

• Uninstalled MC using the Windows Application uninstall interface with option to leave library files in place
• Restart Windows
• Install JRMC23
• Open OGF and check WDM
• Close MC as instructed by MC notification
• Restart Windows
• Check for new audio playback device in Windows - no MC device

Still no luck.  The build I had installed was the same as current build above (23.0.91).  However, I downloaded it again just to make sure there wasn't anything new pointing to a new certificate.  Have tried removing and reinstalling three times, each with a new attempt at the WDM install.  Before trying any reinstalls, I discovered that there was a sound device for JRiver listed in the Device Manager.  So, I uninstalled the device and told it to delete the driver.  However, upon each and every reinstall of JRMC23, I get the same problem when installing WDM - a non-functioning device due to an invalid signature (see attached screenshot).

Now that I've put several hours into this, I'm not sure where to turn. Any ideas?

If you have Secure Boot enabled with Windows 10, the only way to use the driver is to disable Secure Boot, as that drastically increases the driver signing requirements which we're not currently able to provide.

Turned off Secure Boot and all works fine.  Thank you for the help.

Anyway, secure boot in mt MSI z971 looks disabled but I cannot see the WDM aduo device yet.

Uncheck the WDM box, restart MC, check the WDM box, and restart MC again.
