automatic dvd play
« on: June 18, 2003, 11:29:23 am »

Is it possible to setup mc9 to automatically play dvd's when inserted? In the configure menu under device there is an option that asks what to do when media is inserted. I entered "play" to both cd and dvd, but mc 9 does not start playing dvd automatically and does not show as an autoplay choice under disc drive properties.

How about  command macro that will play a dvd with one key stroke?

Which version of MC do you have? Please post your system info here (from MC's help menu).

Thanks,

yes i can manually play a dvd by going to the tree and selecting a disc to play and doubleclicking on that drive.
my question is why does wmplayer9 do this automatically. and why is media center not an option under autoplay dvd for this drive?list shows every other player installed on my pc except mc 9. (Mc9 does show as an autoplay option for CD's.)
