MC Application/Server to Run on QNAP x86/x64 Platform
« on: February 20, 2018, 09:13:33 am »

Hello,

Is there a QNAP application built to be installed and run on a QNAP NAS natively?  If not, is there any consideration for doing this?

Thanks for the info!

It was done a year or two ago, then QNAP pulled the rug out from under JRiver's feet so it's not officially supported or recommended anymore. You can probably get MC23 for Linux working on a QNAP via Docker but it's probably still unsupported.

The same rug pulling reason(s) is why I'm going to guess that there won't be an attempt at a Synology version either.
