No HDR over DLNA
« on: February 21, 2018, 06:47:05 pm »

Streaming HDR vidios using media center 23 through my Sony UBP-X800 to my Sony XBR-65X850C comes out SDR 30p. Streaming the same videos using Servio I am seeing HDR 24p. Are there settings in JRiver that will pass the original HDR video?

Thanks

You can change the conversion settings for the DLNA Server.

Tools > Options > Media Network > Add or Edit Servers.

The only chance of HDR over DLNA working is if you stream the original file entirely untouched, assuming your device supports that particular format. Our video conversion does not support HDR.
