Feature Request for MC24: Support to sync handhelds
« on: March 01, 2018, 01:44:00 pm »

The Mac version of MC23 does not support any type of sync to any type of handheld (in the 64 bit version). Digital Audio Players are becoming more and more popular, and this is a glaring hole in the feature set. Please add this feature to MC24. Oh, and if you could add support for iPod Classics (which apparently, before my time as a user, used to be supported), that would be gravy on top.

Thanks.

Same here,

I just paid for my version 24 upgrade still hoping that 64bit handheld sync makes it into the next version.

I would hate to downgrade back to the 32bit version because I do notice snappier performance, and I hate having to spend over three solid days to rebuild my thumbnail cache...

Handheld support for the 64-bit Windows builds is coming. It's just not a simple thing to add and requires re-writing a good portion of the code to support it, so it may take some time.

Not sure about the Mac builds, I thought this was already working (I could be wrong)? If not, that will probably take time as well (likely more-so than Windows 64-bit handheld support).
