MC Starts playing automatically when laptop wakes up

If MC is running, but playback is stopped or paused on a laptop when the laptop goes to sleep, when the laptop wakes up MC starts playing automatically. This is undesirable, and at times, annoying.

Can anyone tell me/us whether this is fixed in MC 23?
