Ken Burns Zoom?
« on: March 04, 2018, 10:31:36 pm »

I am enjoying the JRiver Id - music and slideshow to my entertainment center.  Yay!

But - I once had an hdmi cable from my pc to my entertainment center - another house - and I miss the "ken burns" zoom on the slideshow.  That option isn't available on the Id - as far as I can tell.  Feel free to correct me.

Is it possible on the Id?  or is the poor little Id just not up to the graphics?

Would love it if possible,  would understand if I'm asking for miracles.

Thanks!

The Windows version of MC uses a 3D rendering engine for the image slideshow, the Linux and Id version use a 2D variant. As such, some of the effects didn't really carry over automatically.
Although a simple zoom/pan effect like that doesn't seem impossible to do, it just hasn't been done yet. Don't think processing power is a limiting factor here, its just that the DirectX-based 3D image slideshow is Windows-only and as such had to be rebuild.

I'll put it on the list to investigate, no promises on any timeframe however.
