WDM Won't play to DLNA Device
« on: March 10, 2018, 09:20:33 am »

Hello,

I found this forum today while looking for a solution to this issue. I couldn't find any issues similar, so hopefully you can help. I'm trying to use the WDM driver to play music from the spotify app on my computer to a Squeezebox Touch on my local network. I have followed all the WDM instructions, and I have IPC showing up in the "Player" output, and it plays music through the speakers on computer. When I try to send ipc to the Touch, I get an Error saying "There was a problem controlling the selected DLNA device. Double check your device, server, and network settings." However, I can play music from my network storage drive to the Touch, so JRiver is clearly capable of sending it information. If I have music playing on the Touch and add ipc to the queue, it plays until it gets to ipc, and then throws the same error.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Or any alternative way to play spotify through the Touch? I was trying it in with "Connected Media" before I found the WDM driver.

Thanks!

This is not supported. WDM can only play locally, sorry.
