Alexa wasn't available in Canada for years, only Google Home was.  So I went with Home.  Works great controlling lights, Philips Hue, etc.  Also works well with Google Music and other services.  But I can't seem to figure out how to play my MP3 collection via MC.

Are there any plans to expand House Band to include support for Google Home?

A while back I started work on it....and got pretty far. But really, in the limited time I have to spend on this (which has been no time lately), I will continue to work on Alexa.

Lack of time is likely the factor there.

Yep. I think Awesome Donkey is right. Porting to Google Home is unlikely at this point. Sorry...
