All my files re in folders by artist/whatever. The tags, so far as they apply are complete. My music is kept on a USB. If I look at them via Explorer they are all there and there are no files not in folders. But, when I move the USB and the drive changes and I have to re-import the files nearly half of them are listed outside their folders, which are shown fully in the filename and, with the exception of the name, the tags have been wiped and the cover art lost.
I've been using Media Center for years without this, or any other problem for that matter, and am at a loss to understand what causes the problem.
Can you advise me please
