Remove files from a previous synced library
« on: April 07, 2018, 04:35:26 pm »

Is there a way to remove files that came over from an auto import?  I went in to the "configure auto import" section and updated my sync folders, but the other files are still showing up.  On setup, JRiver grabbed the Music folder and that is where both iTunes and JRiver music is stored.  Now I have duplicates in JRiver that I want to clean up, but don't want to delete my iTunes data while doing it.  I'm sure there is simple way to do this, but could not find a simple approach.  So, thought I'd ask you smart folks before making a big mistake!   ;D

Thanks, Carl

You can clear your library and start over.  File > Library > Library Manager.

You can restore a backup.  MC makes them automatically.

You can "soft" delete them.  Search for a folder name where files you don't want are, then press the del key and read carefully.  Try a few before you do very many.
