Nomad II plugin
« on: June 14, 2003, 12:33:17 pm »

I recently upgraded to MC9 from MJ8, and installed the plugin for my Nomad II. When I try to open the Nomad folder, I get these error messages:
Co Create Error
8007007e!

It used to work in MJ8, and it still works with the Creative software. What might be the problem?

The software versions I intalled are:
MC 9.0.180
Nomad II plugin 9.0.04

make sure you downloaded the MC9 plugin for that player.

MJ8 plugins i think for the most part do not work in MC9

Also be sure you have the stand alone drivers for the Nomad II installed from Creative's site.

Reinstalled the stand alone drivers from Creative's web site. They work fine. MC9 still gives the same error message  :(

Chrom,

The CoCreate error is almost certainly driver related. What Operating System are you running? I will retest it for you and post the results.

I got those exact errors yesterday as I tried to use my nomad on my laptop while on vacation. Went to Creatives' site, downloaded and installed their USB drivers for nomad II, all works fine now. Those errors are definitely driver related. You may want to reload the drivers and reboot all, then try again...
