Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to rate a complete album at once (rather than having to rate each track independently)?
And if 'yes', how  ?

You will want to create a custom "Album Rating" tag, and use a view that groups tracks by album. Then you can just select the album (which selects all of the tracks automatically) and edit the Album Rating tag you just created.

Would that apply the same rating to all tracks though? If so, it defeats the purpose of Album Rating where an album might rate as a 5-star but some of its tracks could rate a 4-star for example.

Make it a relational field and select:
Store one value for each album

I have the same album rating field. Its very straightforward.

• Create a new User Field (Tools -> Options -> Library and Folders -> Manage Library Field)
• Name the field Album Rating (or however you like)
• Data Type: Integer, Relational: Store one value for each Album, Edit Type: Five Stars
• Check Save in file tags if you want that

No you can access a five stare rating album field in all the usual places. Bonus points, make an Album view that looks fancy: Go to you preferred Album View. Look above the Album covers you see a tab symbol, probably named "Albums" or something, with an arrow pointing down. click it and select "Thumbnail text". Then copy and paste the following:
