Play to network DLNA device

JimH:
Then it has to be a configuration problem somewhere.  Try the wiki on Media Network and DLNA.

Firewall on Linux?

InflatableMouse:
Thanks Jim.

Of course I read the wiki ;).

But there's nothing to configure except enable media network so DLNA is enabled, or is there?

I'll try from Windows and report back.

InflatableMouse:
On Windows, I see both my receiver and the Teac NT-503. On Linux, I see neither.

There is no (outgoing) firewall.

JimH:
Double check that you have turned on Media Network on the Linux machine.  Try connecting to it from Windows.

What version of MC are you using?

InflatableMouse:
24.0.15. Media Network is turned on, I can connect to it from both Windows and Android.

Unless ... firewall incoming needs some ports open for MC to see them. Let me turn it off completely and wait a few minutes.
