Hi,
When I open JRiver and choose a movie, just can play one (Dolby HD, Atmos any audio that the movie has), if I choose another, there is a legend  that reads: "playback could not be started with the selected audio output" , and doesn't matter wich other I choose, none of them can be played. If I reopen the program, the same movie that I can't opened before plays perfectly now but if I choose another, the same legend appears. This happens recently with JRiver 23 and now with version 24 ... any idea how to solve this?

Atmos only works with bitstreaming.  Bitstreaming won't work unless your  device can handle the unmodified stream.

You might be able to work around this by using zones and ZoneSwitch.  The wiki has a topic.

Thanks for your reply. I always bitstream the sound thru HDMI and let my receiver do the rest. My receiver is capable of decode all audio options (even Auro 3D). All my system has been working perfect until couple of weeks ago. Don't understand how "zones" can help me, would you please elavorate? thanks

Yes and still don't understand how can this solve the issue (never used zones in the past and everything works perfect), but will configure my playback under "zones" and let you know. Thanks
