Hi
Since I have installed Media Center 24 G-Force has stopped working.
Thinking that G-Force might be the problem I renewed my license and installed
the latest version of G-Force. Still the same problem.
Every time you start G-Force the audio goes into a repetitious stutter.
Sounds like a machine gun and Windows 10 basically shuts the Media Player down.
Anybody have any idea on how to fix this

Hi, I had this problem for so long in my PC JRiver that I gave up using it.  Selecting G-Force would cause stutter and then crash of MC24.  (23 too if I recall).  I ended up using G-Force standalone with out visualizer tied to the music.  Plus more inconvenient....

Saw your note, just reinstalled G-Force 5.82 Platinum and to my surprise, JRiver is not even showing G Force as an option in the Display menu. 

How did you get yours resolved?

5.82 was updated to support Windows 10 / 64-bit Media Center 24 as it was crashing. It's still working for me in 24.0.65
 
I do still occasionally have crashes when using it with the WDM Driver, as some of the WDM driver behaviors like stopping and starting frequently (e.g. seeking through a YouTube video in Firefox) combined with G-Force seems to kill the player, and there's no way to only enable G-Force in specific zones. The setting for visualizer is global.

Yeah was bummed when Winter Wonders 2018 didn't have it listed in the installer either. I've kind of given up on Soundspectrum at this point. I know Andy and crew got tied up with stuff for a while but things haven't been the same over there in a few years since Tunr development started.

Have you considered Milkdrop? Not only is it free, but from what I can remember it definitely gives G-Force a run for its money, if not tops it. I could be wrong though since the last time I saw it was many years ago.

Do you know of a build that works in MC24?

The only one we have is working for me with MC24. I only use it on the ageing htpc box, which kind makes me think, if that can run it, anything can, though despite its age, it does have its own nVidia graphics card albeit a low profile laptop job, it does OK.
