WDM Driver signing (lack of!) [Partially solved(workaround)]
« on: April 25, 2018, 07:22:09 am »

I'm wanting to try this feature but I'm getting a driver signing error. In the driver the notes show
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

I have disabled driver signing check using gpedit.msc, but still getting this message. the device is sitting in the device manage with a yellow exclamation mark and is unusable at this point! Any idea?
Thanks in advance, Richard

Likely this issue: https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,114531.0.html

Basically have to disable Secure Boot in the UEFI BIOS of the motherboard to install/use the WDM driver currently.

I see it. Thank you, have restarted without driver signing, and since I generally just hibernate my pc, that should last a while... Next to see if I can reduce the delay for gaming! Thank you
