I noticed this recording had some issues last night.
It seems to start and stop several times only saving a few minutes of the show each time. Then a second recording of the same show was made at 1:00 which was successful.

I have not had any other problems with recording TV shows. Maybe just a fluke. If the issue was due to bad reception (I am using over-the-air antenna), perhaps MC should have some logic programmed in to not save anything under a specific file size (like 1GB, or maybe a User defined minimum file size).

Any idea what might have gone wrong? Has anyone else seen this?

Did you run out of hard disk space?  Since the same show was later recorded to completion, this does not seem to explain it.  Just a thought.

Your question just triggered a memory - around 8PM last night I was replacing the CPU on that computer. So I had the shut the computer down and restarted it a few times.
