After installing MC24, removing MC23

After installing MC24, I am trying to uninstall MC23.

In the installer there is a question about Remove all Media Center registry entries.
Are those entries also used by MC24 or are they safe to be removed because they are only used by MC23.

I am using a Window10 install.

You can remove the registry entries when you uninstall MC23.
