MC 24 and XP?

So, will MC 24 install on a PC running XP?   I am getting an installation error.  I have no problem running MC 23 on the XP  box for the simple things I want it to do.... eg play music.

Any chance MC24 on a win 10 laptop will be able to use the library running on this XP box to play music to the dac.  (or does everything have to be the same version?

Probably not possible to run on XP now.  Sharing might work.
