A True Jukebox Skin
« on: May 13, 2003, 05:32:13 pm »

Looking for a skin that looks and acts like a real jukebox.  It would allow you to use a laser beam mouse to select the artist (like A....B....C....) then the song and it would be played next in order of selecting.  No keyboard would be needed.  This would be wonderful for a party with the jukebox up on your big screen.  Any thoughts out there???

I use glissando for this purpose as not only can I have it up on the big screen I can have it running on multiple touchpads and clients all controlling one 'server' version of MC... Glissando is kind of due a facelist soon though...

I think it's a great idea!  I'm a computer 3d artist.
I would be willing to help create a look.  I'm not to technical though.  I don't understand the skin setup.

Hey King

I'm not looking for an artist....  It just seems like a great idea.

Well if what J River did to MC9 would allow you to totaly reconfigure and move controls around on Mega Me I think this is a good thing.

I do think it may be premature to be woking on it unless your ready for changes in the future since i do not think they are done with it yet.

Check the 3rd party board here.   There's a link in one of the top threads (I think).
