I just downloaded/installed MC 9 on top of MJ 8.
The install hung up while updating the database. I had to end the task in Windows Task Manager.
I continued the install--then imported the files from my HD. But it appears that MC 9 has captured old settings from MJ 8. It first showed an old now invalid path before I imported the files.
Now it's showing old ratings data for example and not showing recent changes I made in MJ 8 to many fields.
When I try to update the database the program hangs with nothing happening on the CPU--only 17 MB RAM in use by MC 9.
I'd like to recapture what was the current MJ 8 data and settings.
I did backup the library before I installed MJ 9.
How should I proceed from here?
