Buffer-Overrun Error Message
« on: June 03, 2003, 05:06:43 pm »

I got this the other day, for unknown reasons....

The music kept playing, but I was unable to do anything with MC other than shut it down and the error message came back up immediately when I ran MC again.  A reboot stopped the problem.  This is the 3rd time I've seen this message in the past few months.

SNAP! I got one too....

This one popped on me when trying to play webradio with ASIO enabled. Buffer plays over and over, MC dies, reboot needed.

gkerber, were you streaming audio when yours happened by any chance? If yes, then I guess this has to go into the bug thread.

Good - someone else had the same problem.  We should always confirm any of the same problems we've had, the more reports, the more likely the bug will move to the top of the ist for development.

I was using RemoteServer to control MC from a PDA, but I've never streamed audio.

My audio kept playing just fine for the time I got to the office and rebooted, no looping.
