Copy smartlist to playlist
« on: September 15, 2018, 06:51:18 am »

Hi everyone.

I am using Media Center in restaurant. Creating playlist by adding songs one by one is taking too long and smartlist is not so accurate and doesn't allow to move songs up and down,... So I would like to copy smartlist into the playlist where I can do any desirable changes.
How can I do it?
Thank You and have a lovely day.

You might try using Play Doctor.  It builds a list automatically, based on a few tracks you give it.  It learns from skips.  The wiki has a topic.

You can copy any list by:

Click inside the smartlist.
Select all songs with Command-a
Now copy with Command-c
Go to a new (or existing) playlist and click inside it
Paste your songs in with Command-v

Now you can edit as much as you'd like.

Of course, you could also just Play the smartlist.  That will put it into Playing Now.  You can edit playing now as much as you'd like.  This works well for "on the fly" mixes.  If you want something more permanent, then a real static playlist is probably the correct tool for the job.
