I am using Media Center 24 x64. Clicking Open Live -> ASIO Line In -> Configure ASIO Line In proposes me JRiver media center 23 as ASIO Device in the device list drop down. I searched in the registry for 'Media Center 23' in case some old installation relics were the but it looks ok
can somebody explain this strange behaviour?
thanks much

I can confirm that stanzani is quite correct here the asio live in configuration drop down does offer only JRiver 23 not the expected JRiver 24 option - probably just a naming error but offputting for users.

Indeed this is just a naming thing. I've updated the name for the next build, and made it so its automatically updated in the future when MC changes. Sorry for the confusion!

Thank you for the quick reply and the prompt fix!
This mean that JRiver itself can be used as ASIO input? How doe it work? I am confused ...
Thanks

I don't think actually selecting the MC device there is going to work or be particularly useful, but the dialog just lists all available ASIO audio devices.
