Hide menu bar in theater mode
« on: September 22, 2018, 12:33:24 pm »

Hi there, is there a way to set a time after which the top bar in theater view (Playing Now, etc.) hides? It seems to stay there all the time while listening to music.

Thanks!

Not just the top menu, no.

You can set MC to fade out after inactivity, which almost hides the top menu, but also other interface components and track information.

I also set the option in Theatre View Themes "Fade out Cover Art in Playing Now Display" to "Always", so that the background images are displayed without the Cover Art overlay.

List View with fade out works well for me when I want to see the current song name but not the progress in the current song.

Other times just Display View, which just displays the Album Cover Art, is enough.

Thank you RoderickGI.
Could we get a fading out menu? It should then become visible again as soon as the user interacts with MC and fade out then again.
