Playing Highres is always convertet to mp3
« on: September 27, 2018, 12:33:01 pm »

My Macbook Pro is connected to a MC Server (Win 10) trough Wifi. MacBook Pro-> Devialet AIR (Wifi) ->D220 Pro

If I play a 24 bit 192 kHz flac file or something else,  Audio Path shows: 44.1kHz 2ch from source format MP3. Why is there a conversation. I am not playing through DLNA.

This is expected behavior with the default settings.  I do not like these default settings, but they can be changed.  :)

Tools > Options > Media Network > Client Options > Audio Conversion > (change stuff here)

By default it wants to convert to MP3.  You might change it to "don't convert".  That should fix it.
