(Did a search, but 'thumbnails' is too popular of a subject it seems, and I couldn't readily find my answer.)

I manually told MC to rebuild all my thumbnails.  A day and a half later, it's still going and only half way done.  (That's fine.  I have lots of thumbnails to build.)

Question:  If I exit MC, will it resume rebuilding where it left off, or do I need to leave MC running for an estimated 3 days straight?

This isn't building them from scratch.  It's just with my install of the new MC24 (thanks for the gif animations, btw, Matt!!), I'm rebuilding everything "just because," and since the old thumbnails already exist, I'm not sure if rebuild task will "remember" where it was between application launches, or will it just resort to rebuilding missing ones, or if it will just be killed altogether and I would have to start over.

MC needs to be running.  Media Server might do it.  I'm not sure.

If you restart, you'll just need to start the thumbnail building process again.  It will pick up where it left off.

So right now it's at "Building thumbnails (1763734 of 2156577)" and climbing.  So if I were to close MC and then open it again tonight and click the "Build Thumbnails" option, it would start at "Building thumbnails (1763735 of 2156577)" and not "Building thumbnails (1 of 2156577)"?
