Does that DAC have a ASIO driver available? If so, open MC's Options > Audio and look for your DAC with the ASIO driver there under Audio Device then enable DSD bitstreaming.

Something to keep in mind if you're using the 64-bit version of MC24 and there's only 32-bit ASIO drivers available for your DAC (or vice versa, 64-bit ASIO drivers and you're using the 32-bit version of MC24) then the 64-bit version of MC24 can't use the 32-bit ASIO driver. If that's the case, try the 32-bit version of MC24. Easiest way to tell if that's the case is install the DAC's ASIO drivers and check under MC's Options > Audio > Audio Device section. If there's no ASIO option in the dropdown menu, then the driver is likely 32-bit only (if you're using MC24 64-bit) or 64-bit (if you're using MC24 32-bit).

However if there's no ASIO driver available for the DAC, try WASAPI instead and enable DSD bitstreaming.

Have you installed the iFi (by AMR) HD USB Audio Driver 3.2.exe file from the manufacturers website?

It looks like it supports 4xDSD so there must be an ASIO driver provided by the manufacturer.

Ok, I went to the Ifi-Audio website & discovered that I needed to download that 3.2 exe file to my PC before the Ifi iOne Nano was connected!

As my username implies,I have tons to absorb about Computer Audio & "What basic settings effect what". Needless to say, my learning process on selecting the correct buffer sizes & latency resposiveness is a 'W I P' (would have written 'WIP', but I wasn't sure if I was using the correct latency responsiveness; He,he,he !) ;D
