Not receiving emails from JR

I own a license for MC v22.  In looking around for Black Friday sales for various software I own I realized I hadn't checked for a new version of MC in quite some time.  Imagine my surprise to find out the current version is v24!  I normally purchase a new version every one to two years upon receiving an email from JR informing me of a time-sensitive special deal on an upgrade price when a new version is first released.  I don't recall receiving any kind of an email informing me of v24, and possibly even v23.

Was no email with a special deal for "early adopters" of v24 not sent out?  Or perhaps I've been removed from the email list for some reason?

I remember receiving at least 2 emails from JRiver about an offer on MC24 (which I took them up on :)

Yes, there was an email for the early bird special when MC24 was announced. The problem though was that some email providers blocked the emails, thus they failed to deliver the emails to some users (I think it was Microsoft?). Anyways, if you didn't receive any emails check your junk/spam folder, otherwise it's likely your email provider simply blocked the emails from coming through.

To compensate for this JRiver did enable a feature in older versions where when MC checked for updates, it'd display a message in the action window area about the upgrade being available. Of course, if you disabled automatic updates, you wouldn't of seen this message.

If emails fail, I'd recommend checking the forums at least once a month because any early bird specials of new MC versions will be announced at the top of the forum section.

You have mail (I hope).  You have a hotmail address and they did block our e-mail.

I received your email, thank you.  I'll send you an email about it.  How do I go about switching my email address I receive these notifications to over to my Gmail account?

And yes, the email I've been using is MS Hotmail.  I check the junk mail folder on a daily basis though so I'd have noticed it.  I see @JimH has indicated MS did block the email though.  Ugh.
