WMA Files Slow To Load
« on: December 17, 2018, 02:56:47 am »

Hi,

I have some albums in wma format and they are extremely slow to load each track. Over 1 minute per track. They do eventually load but that load time isn't workable.
I'm on MC 24.0.68 and Windows 10 64bit.

I have 14 Albums in WMA. Should I just rip them again?

What format does the JRiver team recommend for my future rips?

Thanks,
Nicholas

Do you have memory playback enabled?

Make sure you are actually on 24.0.68, we recently fixed an issue with slow loading of WMA files.

Hi,

24.0.68 (64-bit) according to the About Media Center splash screen.

Memory Playback is set to off.  Should this be on?

Cheers
