Author Topic: Gizmo connecting to server, loading files, playing track--but no sound  (Read 1089 times)

Phone is a OnePlus One, I installed Gizmo last year and it worked fine, but just tried it today after many months and now it won't produce any sound, though the app (or an OS overlay) does display the volume % when the buttons are adjusted.  Sound works fine for all other apps and I checked app permissions, all seems in order. Problem persisted after reboot.  Anybody face this issue before, find a solution?

Well, from the google play store. It's an Android phone.

I just figured out what was wrong.  Gizmo was set to play on the server instead of on the phone.  I didn't change that setting, but perhaps it re-set to the default at some point. Either that or I bumped it by accident at some point.  Anyway, it's nice to know that you can have it play at the server, that allows you to use your phone as a remote control for JRiver.  But once again I can use it for mobile listening now.
