DLNA: PCM to DSD on the fly to SMS200
« on: January 01, 2019, 03:08:41 am »

My config are as follows:

-Mainly Flac and DSF files on Synology NAS
-MC 23.0.103 on MacMini as server
-SOTM SMS200 as render
-Ayon Stealth as DAC

Currently plays flac files as PCM with no conversion and DSF files as DSD also with no conversion.

Heard that Flac files converted to DSD on the fly produces different sound and would like to try but does not know how?

Can help?

DSP Studio > Output Format > Output Encoding.

DSP Studio > Output Format > Output Encoding.

Tried and can be configured but when I start playing any flac or dsf or any other type of tracks, got "DSP Studio is only available for local zones"

Can help. Thnx in advance.
